Summer Sports Camp for Children with an Intellectual Disability!


Summer Sports Camps are running in conjunction with the Laois, Kilkenny, Carlow and Kildare Local Sports Partnerships and Special Olympics Leinster.

Who can apply: Any child with an intellectual disability who is between 6 and 16 years of age. Siblings are also welcome.

What activities: Basketball skills, soccer skills, and athletics. Motor Activities and other fun games will also be provided. No sporting experience is necessary and all abilities are catered for. If children require assistance with personal care they must be accompanied by a carer.

What time: The camps will run from 11am – 2pm each day. Registration will be at 10:30am on the first day of each camp.

How much: 10 euro per child for the two days and 5 euro extra per sibling. Children should bring a packed lunch with them.

Places are limited so please contact the relevant person as soon as possible to register. Please encourage anyone who is interested in volunteering at the camps to get in contact at one of the numbers above.
